Rolling Prairie Bike Trail
The Clarksville trail head is located at Volunteer Park, on the south edge of town. There is plently of parking, as well as rest rooms and a small shelter house next to the trail. The trail takes you through Heery Woods State Park, and west 7 miles to Allison. The route east uses city streets to county road C33, where there is a one mile bike lane that connects to the paved trail east of town. From there it is a 6 mile ride to Shell Rock. The entire trail is paved to either Allison or Shell Rock. Enjoy several scenic bridges and natural canopy as well as scenic prairie areas for a relaxing ride to Allison and or Shell Rock!
